Magnetic dosimetry simulations of wireless power transfer systems with high resolution voxel models utilizing the <scp>co?simulation</scp> scalar potential finite difference scheme

Wireless power transfer (WPT) systems can be utilized to charge batteries of electrically powered vehicles with a in the order tens kilowatts. The low frequency source currents WPT system emanate magneto-quasistatic fields that induce electric inside body tissues exposed persons. This article compares International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) recommended 99th percentile voxel averaged field strengths model determined by commercial simulation tools and co-simulation scalar potential finite difference scheme. Furthermore, resolution is enhanced 1 × mm3 which results about eight times larger numbers degrees freedom than obtained using ICNIRP resolution. fine values (and also resulting times) are compared against coarser ICNIRP. To cover broad range exposure scenarios, comparisons presented for different configurations an vehicle varying postures human as passenger bystanding person.
